The figures looked impressive and I was thinking of buying so I did a Peter Lynch analysis on this company (ie ask your wife and teenage daughter).
My wife said Temple & Webster used to be really good and she bought stuff from them however now there are cheaper options online so she hasn't been looking at Temple & Webster any more.
You have to wonder how big their moat is. What is stopping competitors taking their customers?
Oonline furniture shopping will get a short term sugar hit and long-term structural tailwind accelerated by the lockdowns .
My conclusion: the market for online furniture will grow strongly but TPW's market share may fall. Overall still a nice runway for TPW but maybe not as much as the bulls are expecting. I'll watch from the sidelines. GLTAH
