Sloth27, the United Petroleum conspiracy theory is like the Caltex conspiracy theory. They are just conspiracy theories like the Valentich UFO conspiracy, Moon landing conspiracy, Titanic coal bunker fires weakening the hull, President Kennedy, Prime Minister Holt going for a swim and drowning, 9/11, 7/7, Bali nightclub plot was a Sukarnoputri plot to instigate Marshall Law, Snowtown murders was an elaborate plot to win box office receipts for the Wolf Creek film, etc.
All great conspiracy theories, pity about the lack of truth in any of them.
