yeah,i took a punt and locked in two loans in total 650k for 5 years at 8.3% with the commonwealths wealth package.its what we could afford so we wanted assurity of our future.some people bagged me for doing so saying the 'cycle'is topping(rates cycle),but i just didnt trust the enviroment,higher oil,higher rents ,18% rates increases to come in nsw,wages rising....and the credit problems.I think we will see 10-11% before this finishes?thoughts??
