Europe had cultures that changed regularly and were constantly influenced by other cultures for thousands of years - so, they were apt at adaptation - forced or not

Australian aboriginals largely remained unchanged for 50,000 years -

50,000 years of culture, unchanged, unchallenged, no need to develop adaptation skills --

hmmmmm -- just might have something to do with it

want a little example of a cultural difference ?

In Europe - for thousands of years - people knew the concept of 'ownership' -

that's the thing that you and I take for granted and that we struggle to get an idea of what it would be like without such an ingrained concept ---

aboriginals had no such concept ------------ and, today - some of them still do not ------------ hard to believe, but, if one has traveled a lot in Australia, one sooner or later runs into such people

Last one I met was only a few years back in SA - and, he was young - a really nice guy - I had difficulty understanding him - his English was very difficult to grasp - but, he understood me perfectly - he had no idea of the concept of ownership

if some of them haven't got that ---------------- we expect them to adopt naturally to the world of work, ipads, university and so on - all the while old white trash looking sideways at them

That's hilarious Pintohoo....You really should stop being an apologist for laziness and stupidity. I don't care what Aboriginals believed hundreds of years ago.....nor do I care about their white excusers.....defending an obcviously failed culture. I've lived and worked all over the world.....If I hadn't, I might have fallen for the leftist excuses for our Australians that time left behind.....BUT, they have had a couple hundred years to learn, absorb, educate, innovate, and rise above....I have seen may others across the planet who did so....but not our dreamtime cases......They never left the launch pad....and I think 50 years of leftist brain-washing - steered them straight to total failure. One Nation will sort them out....if anyone ever does.....The game will be over.....
