There is currently only 5 sellers showing on the eTrade market depth. There are only 600 holders in total.
This stock is held very tight and is likely to fly with any results released from the Philippines tenement.
With only around $30k worth of shares on the market this could be soaked up very quickly leaving 0 sellers.
Better taking the leap to low 40's now rather than risking missing out all together IMHO.
Potential 3cps dividend (possibly higher if AUD gold continues to increase?). Grab some now while this poses a decent return on purchase price!
Here's part of an article on Gold Royalty stocks:
http://www.learnmoney.co.uk/advice/advice-115.html
***Why investors like Gold Royalty stocks***
Secured earnings - If quality royalties are bought the company has earnings security combined with low overheads
Leverage - Royalties can offer leverage if the price of Gold increases. An example would be an increase of 0.5% in the royalty share for every $25 increase in the price of Gold. So a royalty might pay 4% when Gold is at $300 but 9% if the price is above $900 and an even higher percentage at $1,000+. Of course the opposite is also true
Low costs - theoretically all the company has to do is to manage its present royalties, as well as research future purchases. Most royalty companies therefore have low overheads with a low employee count
