One service provider I use has only 5 of 30 dow component stox in an uptrend. The rest are steady or trending down. The five uptrending are:
Alcoa
Coca Cola
Walt Disney
Macdonalds
Altria.
It kind of makes sense. The rest of the economy is such that you drink coke, eat at Maccas, watch a movie and smoke a Philip Morris!
