Does anybody really think that any meaningful decision will be made prior to the result of the election?

Bligh could wait until June 2012 to call the election.

Even if the Liberals get in (which is almost a certainty) does anybody really think that Campbell Newman is going to immediately embrace UCG with the current furore over CSG?

Wheteher or not the technology works or does not work shareholders must now accept that there is unlikley to be any revenue of any significant nature in 2012.

The company's focus will now turn to Chile in order to justify a new capital raising that will be needed by April. It will be interesting to see whether the 10M loan now goes ahead.

Shareholders should be asking cnx to disclose the special conditions. Bet you one of them will relate to the 20 January deadline.
