Unless Australia, QLD and it's Government wants an energy price crisis on it's hands it will embrace new technologies after weighing up risk vs reward.

Many countires aside from Australia use nuclear power after weighing up risk v reward, for and against UCG is no different.

Cheap power and synthetic diesel fuel via gas to liquids does not come risk free.

When you're paying $2 litre for fuel and business/household electricity prices have blown, lets talk again and see what the net effect is on our economy if we still have one at that stage.

The fundamentals are in UCG's favor IMO.
