No it won't - IMO it will be the exact opposite.

Right now they have an offer - an offer for which the company didn't even bother to release the details and that tells people (other than the hypesters) a whole bunch: the offer is quite low.

And IMO if the transaction goes through, which I doubt it will, AZZ isn't going to get anywhere near what PXD got.

AZZ probably got the low ball offer because the company making the offer knows that AZZ needs the cash to work on its properties, AZZ has gone through the stock offering route once too many, and that AZZ is no position to undertake the needed work without those funds.

IMO AZZ is a poor position and the company making the offer knows it. Other companies offer access and have better land: EKA and AUT are two of them.
