    What is the best barometer for a turn in markets and economies, over the past 6 months I have heard;

    1. The Financials lead the way.
    2. Commodities lead the way.
    3. The price of Oil leads the way (similar to 2, but strictly oil).


    Anyone remember from the 2000 - 2001 dip, or better still back to the 70's?
