The power I produce gets used by the people each side of us who don't have solar panels. We share one transformer that I had to pay for 20 years ago. The retailers are making a killing on the power I send to my neighbours, but the govt pays my PFIT.
The upkeep of the network is a crock. SP are helping out in most areas so they don't have to upgrade items.
