was talking to someone that tended to hold that view exclusively.
then asked that isn't god omnipresent?, and he said yes; then poined to a piece of wood, and he laughed, and said surely you dont think that piece of wood is god?

if it is true, then we might tend to treat all things with respect, rather than confining our concept of it to one particular historical person that said some good things.

if we shifted our respect of what we percieve as divine to all other things, regardless of their appearance, i.e. in this case, treated all ather things with the adoration that we give to some image of jesus, wouldn't it make us better people?

this is why some people bow
it is the attitue of the heart, not the appearance, that matters.

not and easy thing to realize, because of our conditioning.
much of the simple teaching of jesus explained the path.

it is a gradual, process
we are fortunate to have that choice.
