I think you are confusing a so called "Christian society" with Christ's way of life. They are not necessarily one and the same thing. Sometimes they can be opposite. Germany during the second world war while Hitler was in power was also a "Christian society". Sure Hitler's model of a "Christian society" is not what we would ever like to be. So, be careful when you say we are a "Christian society". You need to be more specific.
