There are sure going to be some big pointers in the next few months:

• the next quarterlies will reveal cash position, sales growth and arrears
• the half yearlies come next when the true position of profit or loss is revealed. It may be nobbled by the massive penalty interest bill to pay out the corporate facility, which was kicked into the next financial year and now has to be accounted for
• the US Fed is going to be hard on the inflation case and might try to jawbone the economy back in preparation of bigtime tax cuts, government spending and a shortage of labour if people start getting thrown out of the US
• Australia and New Zealand economies are cooked, arrears are the wild card, the new credit laws have stifled volumes and when the RBA changes merchant agreements to allow them to add customer BNPL fees to the agreements, it is going to be a disaster

IMO these things are going to guide the charts and I agree that it is going to be an exciting ride. Looks as though markets will kick on for some time yet, but anything could happen
