Like death and taxes, another sure thing in life has been the steady and inexorable decline in share price of PLA at an average rate of around 8 cents per month since mid January. On the current trend PLA will reach zero cps between mid September and October.
The ill conceived idea of black empowerment really spelt the beggining of the end of foreign investment in South Africa and this, along with collateral effects, in my view is partly responsible for PLA's malays.
What can be done about it? sell the projects to an existing platinum operation in South Africa and use the funds and the skills of the directors to develop projects elsewhere.
Perhaps my frustration is showing through.
