I know how you feel. Sometimes, despite the constant revision and poring over the fundamentals, you start wondering if you're really just missing something that everyone other Joe Blow can see clear as day. But, as they say, it's always darkest before dawn. And in any case, what's the alternative? It's not as if you can set aside reason and just start throwing darts at an ASX spreadsheet.
