Fair point mookie ... I've been wondering the same myself. My take is that WPL is fully committed to Mauritania and sees billions of barrels there and in the relative near-term. They have all the seismic, discoveries already and oil companies clamouring to join in the action. Africa is a major focus for WPL in Mauritania, Libya, Algeria, and Kenya. Guyane is an unknown and its outside their preferred sphere .. I think Voelte said something like that early on .. even GOM is likley to be wound back if anything.

Perhaps we should ask WPL??????
