Hailoh,
You are right about some groups not being very experienced. Most of the people you refer to tend to be rather idealistic so that their expectation is that if only the final decision is made then we can just switch on the technology. It doesn't work like that of course. It is only cashed up viable companies operating in the market place that are going to implement clean power generation and then only as they develop their product. This cannot happen in Australia right now through government inaction. The Opposition is even worse through its denial and spoiling schoolyard name calling tactics while the Earth is getting ready to 'burn'. BB's post makes it clear that the change will happen eventually. The horizon for clean baseload power will come rapidly closer when feed-in tariffs are established such as is the case in many other countries including Indonesia.
CWE will naturally continue to go through their regular cycles of fund raising by various means. As the project develops larger and more costly components will be needed but these can be purchased off the shelf, over relatively short time scales and with no R&D required. The desalination arm is being investigated right now and will be integrated to the project in due time. As success in these major milestones is achieved and publicised the company value should increase rapidly. Hence I don't really understand your pessimism, Hailoh.
