    Actually, this poster is monitoring things very closely.
    Below are some of his/her comments. It feels like they're working at the Port at Onslow as seems to know about lack of available ore at port!
    Export volumes from Ashburton have increased significantly in recent days. 2/n

    Crucially, I have observed significantly reduced loading times of transhippers over the last 72 hours. A week ago, transhippers often spent 6 or more hours loading in port as a result of a lack of available ore. 3/n

    But over the last 2-3 days, these loading times have come down to an average of under 4 hours, including recent loading times of under 3 hours (the nameplate transhipper loading time is 2.5 hours). 4/n

    Overall, over the last 72 hours export of iron ore at Ashburton has occurred at a rate of 30m tonnes per annum. This is consistent with my prior forecast (18.05.25) 5/n

    Whether this rate can be maintained or increased over the short term remains to be seen. But it appears to bode well for ramp up to 35mtpa earlier than forecast, albeit in reliance on Onslow Road haulage to supplement haul road haulage. 6/n

    As things stand, in my view it is conceivable that Onslow Iron will reach 35mtpa by mid-June. I will monitor this closely. 7/n

    Incidentally, I am told that MinRes Peak, the fifth transhipper, has now completed all major ocean testing and will be available for service within the next week. 8/n

    Note that up until now, transhipper capacity has not been a constraint on export rates. A further (albeit modest) increase in haulage will be required if MinRes Peak is to contribute to increased exports. 9/9
