Ship loading takes place off shore, at or near the island shown on the maps (from what ive seen on sat photos). willyweather only looks at onslow.
If you look at the pics i posted, shows 16kt at onslow (30km/h), but 20kt off shore, ard 40km/h. And the gusts make it 50+kmh.
For maritime ops, you also need to consider current and sea state. NE means they will have fairly heavy seas/big waves.
They would have studied long term weather and conditions in their feasibility and planning. Im not too worried about long term weather patterns and therefore long term ops.
