Averaging 32.3 m tonnes now for June over 12 days.
I'm calling this now, as i think i have enough data.
I have noticed an upsurge in shipping volumes from about June 6 onwards, where on a day they did 5, the next day they were not falling back to 3 (it wasn't a timing issue); eg 4 was the minimums rather than the maximums.
I've done some analysis, and since June 6 the shipping rate is 34.4 m tonnes per annum over the last 6 days.
There is a small chance they are running down port stock, as they would have had about 220 k going into June 1, which may partially explain the higher rate.
But my feel is that isn't the case, as the rate picked up significantly from June 6, not June 1. From June 1 to June 5 the rate was 29 m t pa.
So my educated guess is the road haulage is now running at about 32 m t p a, and possibly higher.
