If his data is right on 1145 mt in 12 days, that's 34.8 m tonnes pa.

I'm tracking it at 32.3 m t pa since June 1. I think the discrepancy is he counts when a boat sails, and a boat sailed on June 1 that was loaded in May, whereas i count it by each transhipper unload based on Stonedfish and Windcreenbug data.

I think we are both tracking that since June 6, they've been loading at 34 m t pa.

I was trying to look at some factors as to why?

The weather has been quite stable; no rain, and only 1 day of wind above 30. So my guess is they can do more hauling etc with good weather, less wind and rain means higher speeds and turn around times.

What was pleasing was yesterday they did 6 unloads, and the wind did get up to around 30 km per hour for an hour or so. So they are learning well.

The weather for the next week is forecast to be good at Onslow. No days where the wind is forecast to be above 20 km per hour, and no rain. So my prediction is the shipping data will continue to be good over the next week.

The overnight data macro data is poor, with FMG and BHP both down, Iron ore down.

My trading model suggests Mins will trade $23.40 ish today. I'll be buying low 23s, as sooner or later the fundamentals of the business take over from all the shorting BS that's just based on momentum and rumourtrage.

I’ve been itching to post a forecast for haulage/exports for a few days but have reluctantly decided to wait for a bit more data. If company beats me to it I’ll puke
