    Thinking out of the box: I wrote already that 30,000 tons of waste, which is about the annual output of LAMP do not occupy much space. It can be stored forever even in one ship for dry goods. So what's the problem? Rent one ship per year and you have all the storage you need.
    Also, If the waste is not considered radioactive and Thorium is not soluble in water, may I ask why can't Lynas dump the stuff at some point in the middle of the sea? It will just sink to the bottom of the ocean and will not pollute.
