Have just bought an interstate property, and am in the middle of the identification verification process....
I need to take my passport and DL to the post office, get them witnessed, signed and countersigned, then send back interstate.
And then wait.
And that’s before any banks get involved. That’s just for the titles Office in that state.
Same thing for passport application.
And transferral of car ownership.
And police or working with children checks.
The list is endless.
