The recent sale of Mt Ida is likely to start looking a whole lot more embarrassing for OBM … if that is possible Red Dirt have been placed in a Trading Halt pending the release of ‘material assay results’, which could only refer to assaying of the recently photographed white core found recently in the OBM core shed. These new RDT assays may confirm that the predominant whitish mineralisation seen up that way was NOT lepidolite… after all (remember 99% of earlier exploration holes were never assayed for lithium) Despite OBM having basically given away Mt Ida for a ‘song’, any good news on the lithium front for RDT at Mt Ida has to be positive for OBM because the mineralisation system is believed to trend N-S West of Menzies through the OBM properties that are currently mining gold.
