I beg to differ sir. Once the masses understand that paper money of any denomination is indeed simply as you put it Micky Mouse money they will find converting their fiat into physical Gold a great deal more expensive than today. I dare say that will also apply to other commodities particularly energy and food linked.

Why do I imagine you sat at your computer living in mum’s basement?

In truth Gold will continue to buy around a certain value of goods: Say an ounce of gold for a quality suit of clothes as it did thousands of years ago.

I can’t help thinking: “He who is ignorant of history is doomed to re-live it.”

Maybe the fashion accessory for the future will be an Oroton leather wheelbarrow!
