I suspect that CTP is going for the value of the find, not production to start with. It maybe better/easier for their share price and market confidence to drill and hit something with gas than to try to hit oil targets with their first drills. Additional seismic, gore and other voodoo magic can be done in the meantime to better identity the oil targets, After all they have an area bigger than some small countries to try to find it in.
