Certainly does paint another picture hitnmiss.
Got into IRES to have a look after the same thing happened on another stock I bought today.

So far SSN has traded ~2.3M shares mainly at 2.5c.
as opposed to the ASX Vol of ~1M.
Chi X is higher Vol today.

at one stage this morning 2.5c on Chi X site was cleared and 2.4c was the bid.

and on another stock the bid was higher on Chi X than the ASX.

So it looks like they are running in parallel and separate to one another except for the broker choosing which one they decide to use.
