Do you have any facts to support your bye Dorado suggestion? I really cannot see any but here are some positive suggestions
    (a) the current oil price has very little impact towards the development of Dorado
    (b) if there is going to be some sort of economic recovery oil would be one of the first commodities to increase (even if it only moves up to $40 region)
(c)when demand picks up even slightly combined with the following we would have to see an increase in the price of oil ,reduction by OPEC + of 10m barrels, dozens of projects put on hold around the world, US shale production in sharp decline and very unlikely to start up quickly again (if ever) leading to US having to import oil,,forget Canadian heavy oil just too expensive to produce.
Back to Dorado world class discovery, reasonably easy and not too expensive to bring into production in a stable country so why would anybody say bye ? Why would the low current unsustainable oil price cause a hold up, when we are talking about 18/24 months to development? Good projects even in the current market will still get the go ahead.Earlier this week Shell committed $10bn to Surat Basin development, hows that for confidence in the future of oil/gas. Looking forward to your suggestions to support" bye Dorado".
