Ok so oil price is down on annual/decade basis. Keep hearing that Aus has 20 days supply max. Let's put a positive spin on this. Is now not a good time for Gov'nmt to secure all production from NWS? It's the sweetest, requiring minimum refinement. Kwinana oil refinery approx half the distance from NWS than Singapore. Almost certainly more oil to be discovered in NWS. Refinery in Pilbara? Of course relative spot prices must apply, as an estimate. Great time for positive negotiations, as in when the supply curve drops & demand rises, we Aust, will be well prepared & more self sufficient. Could even be in a position to export. Just saying............ it's not all bad.
