Be careful what you wish for.
Just about anybody I know that owns a hydro carbon powered conveyance has been whining about the price of petrol or diesel.
I don't own a car or motor bike so not does not impact me personally, but it does impact a lot of people. I don't own a car because I live in a city with excellent public transport and I also work in the oil and gas industry, so I'm not some Green with my eyes rolling back at the thought of global warming. Indeed, myself, my team and my colleagues and peers globally are flat out getting both land and offshore rigs reactivated to drill more wells.
Fold in electric generated using gas becoming more expensive. Electricity fuel with coal may increase too as expensive gas my drive up coal prices further.
Lastly, it's not just about America, increased oil and gas prices will impact a large proportion of the whole world's population.
