As has been reported from the AGM, and I heard Iltescu state it, Celgene has extended the scope of applications in the option.

We will get more information, but the full and frank views of Iltescu & others might not be able to be publicly available, just my guess.

My guess is that some of the banks involved got very greedy and forced their hand because the market isn't ready yet for adult stem cells because of the emotive association with the embryonic stem cell issues which gives an ethical overhang. If that is the truth, you might have difficulty getting it out of Iltescu & others. The brokers might have done a bad job of promoting this and countering negative perceptions and Iltescu might have been naive about people's capacity to be stupid.

I thought Americans were smarter, but they did manage to elect Bush I and II, and Reagan. They can be very emotional and reactive.
