Some come back for operations if it is financially beneficial for them! Recall the Aussie who ran a security business either in Iraq or Afghanistan with his Yankee wife, who ditched him! He had most of his adult life in the US living in style until he could no longer pay for the US expensive medical service...suddenly, he needed to come home to have operation!
Some may have to reapply to be accepted as residents once again!
Most of them extended their stay for financial benefits and ignored the recall!
Good on Scomo! I would say most made good money overseas but are tight @rses to borrow $5 grand to get home interest free.
