Homeland Security. If your home had been bombed what would you have done to protect yourself and your family in the future. Let it happen again? REPLY no you act to prevent it happening again by going after the culprits. So far the Americans seem to have been spectacularly unsuccessful in aprehending those most responsible but have succeeded in hurting a lot of other people instead.
Patriot Act, Ditto above. REPLY achieved nothing.
$3.50 per gallon gasoline. I presume you have never heard of the gigantic leap in the Chinese Economy (and to a lesser extent India and SE Asia) which have been a potent force in the upward spiral in the price of gasolene. REPLY The US has probably added to other factors which are causing fuel prices to rise.
I can not believe that even such an anti-American post could even conceive of blaming the USA for a rise in the price of food. Have you not heard about the numerous droughts all over the world, including the one on your doorstep in OZ, and the rise in Western style diets in the emerging economies? REPLY any number of possibilities there but ethanol use particularly in America is partly responsible.
The vast majority of Iraquis have been maimed and/or killed by their own people. REPLY yep true but why should we add to that.
