I find it strange that people can submit these anonymously which makes it possible for multiple submissions by the same person. I can also understand that some locals will object. If I had a property in the area or a farm and no need for work in the mine I would be objecting too.

It just shows that getting mining projects up and running will be getting harder and harder. RRL made comments about the submissions on their recent conference call. I think a lot of objections were not from the local people and seems like these days there are groups of people that are just trolling these projects and objecting with their environmental agendas.
