Yeah - clicking on the menu on left (and changing the dropdown 'period') was informative.

So MST spent about $75 'thousand' on lobbying in 2007 (down from $210K in 2004).

Meanwhile, Northrop Grumman spent $15.7 'million' on lobbying in 2010 alone.

While this is sobering, it is difficult or impossible to compare apples with apples here.

Still, I guess it is naive to think a 'product' will do the job alone without effective 'lobbying' to get the contracts.

Anyone have more informed thoughts?
