Yep Captain - the accumulation is reasonably easy to spot, e.g. 1-share trades (for much of yesterday), buy side vaguely matching sell side, ramp-up of sell towards close, and 50k shares sitting on the sell side at open etc.
Otherwise not sure who's behind it - could be one of the existing institutional holders (e.g. Pie Funds, Perennial, SG Hiscock) or a new player all together looking to build a substantial position.
With regards to potential take-over, again not sure but whoever it may be interested in SPZ's IP as well as foot-hold in the UK parking management space. I'm also interested to go long and see whether SPZ can get traction in the US.
