If you can buy at $1.10 and are holding shares that you can sell for $1.80 or $1.40 or even $1.15, then what are you going to do with those shares that you are holding?

Yes, you'll sell them. And if you didn't want to sell them you will sell them anyway because you know that enough people will sell to push the price lower. So you sell ASAP and then buy them back on the day's low.

Thus I would expect to see the SP touch on $1.10, especially when all of those stop-losses start to pop off.
