The openings quite often tend to be subdued.
They pull off their buy orders at the last minute to suck out the nervous nellies and once they have filled their pockets they come in and pay up.
Watch yesterdays trading for the first 15 minutes and you will understand what they are doing.
This has happened for the past few days on the opening.
