Hopefully economics will outstrip policy. Industry is crying out for relief from power prices. Saw a programme on TV about the advancement of solar. Some of the solar farms are huge, with the biggest controversy being whether they should be placed on good agricultural land rather than whether they are reliable enough for base power. We know solar works, it's why so many people have it on their rooves, storage has been the problem. Hopefully 14D technology will go a long way to solving that problem.
