I'll just get my dart-board out . . . . maybe read some tea-leaves. . . . fact is CER and CNP aren't trading on anything to do with market fundamentals, its all on whispers, shocks and counter shocks. Impossible to try and do any true market valuation.
My thoughts are however that CNP is likely to out-perform CER.
CNP dropped much more heavily than CER and CNP is likely to rebound in % terms from current levels to high levels.
Eg. If CNP goes from $1.20 to $1.50 - that's a 25% gain.
CER would have to trade to about $1.20 to make a 25% gain and I just don't see that happening.
My thoughts are that if you want to 'take a punt' with Centro, be in CNP not CER.
