Sorry if I confused you. Spits are the reverse of consolidations, and usually lead to share price rises. Hence the pros buy them. Consolidations usually lead to price falls, and are thus sold by the pros. But there are plenty of exceptions to the general rule. We won't know for sure until after it happens. A lot can happen between then and now, so today's price action is not necessarily indicative. Though I did sell myself.
