Sunridge Gold Announces Gupo Gold Drill Results - Confirms Open-Pit Potential

Sunridge Gold Corp. (SGC/TSX.V) announces assay results from a drilling program on the Gupo Gold deposit (formerly referred to as Adi Nefas Doop Gold Deposit) within the Asmara Project Eritrea. This twenty-six hole program was designed to verify and expand on the drilling of another company, La Source, completed in the mid 1990's. Based on the La Source results the Company has estimated a NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource of 1,965,000 tonnes at an average grade of 2.99 g/t gold containing 189,000 ounces of gold. The drill results reported from holes GG-001-RD to GG-020-RD confirm the continuity of the near surface gold zone and open-pit potential of Gupo, particularly as it is close to the Adi Nefas zinc/gold/copper and the Emba Derho zinc/copper/gold VMS deposits (see attached map) and could therefore serve as additional resources for future mining operations
