Seeing the comparison to eBay is just nuts for something as young as opensea and for NFT (mostly still unknown to majority of people). Doing half the volume already as a comparison is extremely promising.
Again, eBay is valued at 50B usd. Surely Opensea is worth more than their last raise now. If we go by the exact same metrics as eBay, trading at 50B and doing 100B in volume (roughly) giving it a 2:1 val then based on current opensea runway of 36B, a 18B val is realistic?
big assumptions here again that opensea volume will remain consistent. Whether it is a hype or will have a consistent ecosystem, only time will tell. Very promising right now though.
