It's not maneuver warfare because its hilly deeply defended terrain, so the analogy of 'Desert Fox tactics' is completely false. They will however slowly squeeze the US out by close proximity and can afford to indirectly attack the US if needed, something which the Syrians can't do. The US will never attack Turkey directly. It's deliberate meat grinder tactics, and the Turks have way longer staying power and enough militants to chew through and comply exhaust the Kurd's reserves and military supplies (something they learned at expense fighting the Russians). I think sometimes the sabre rattling to the Greeks and nations around them is part of the phy-ops in training the population for a long struggle with those that seek to destroy and surround them.
The US assuming if they still support the Kurd's and don't continue to flip can't defeat these kind of tactics militarily or politically as they have no real staying power. Mark my words they threw Afrin like a bone to the Turk's by saying they wouldn't defend them and will throw the rest under the bus if needed be again.
