    They may not have created a loss this year but with a registered offices in the Bermuda, cayman islands and more they will definitely be dodging tax when they make money. There are finicky details that mean even if they will end up paying 30% in america, it is better to pay their 30% tax in america than in australia (assuming they ever bring the profits into america).

    It wasn't smart for me to pick one company individually to try and prove a point. None of the big international distributors are paying tax. not just the likes of ingram but also avnet, Synnex, westcon, apple and so on.

    I fully believe that the australian business community needs to start looking after their own interests and lobby for a level ground with regard to tax. Either agree to a zero rate company tax for all or a 30% tax rate for all. It doesn't matter what the tax rate is, only that it is consistently applied.
