Sorry Yref, been really busy on writing a document regarding another share, which I'll be publishing very soon.
Some of the December production data is now available, but not all of it :( :(
I saw the comments of others about frac recovery amounts etc.
Shoddy reporting as usual, gives investors no confidence at all in what is true and what is not. In such circumstances how can you invest?
Just like the Cyprus situation, who's going to keep there money in a bank account now? when you risk getting hit with a levy that is 6 or 10 times more than you can possible earn in annual interest rates. People will remove there money and the banks then won't have the capital to lend to anyone, chaos.
As to the oil/gas numbers yes the Cozart well is doing very nicely indeed. I'm sure such numbers are more than acceptable for long term profitability :) :) even although they now cost $2.2M a shot :( :(
Just need more well's to prove that they have
1. Cracked the code for getting good production rates consistantly.
2. That the same sort of flow rates are repeatable throughout the lease area.
They need to drill wells in the heart of the lease position next, if they truely want to add value for shareholders, then to the eastern edge, northern edge and south-east edge.
At that point if they have production numbers near to those of the Cozart well, after 60 days, then the Northern Star area will be worth a considerable amount of money.
Not sure that, that is there plan yet, no sign of a new COO either, so the time clock continues to tick and not much is happening on the ground. They need to get that other NS well fracced ASAP instead of hanging around doing very little.
Even the good Cozart numbers won't halt the production decline, its going to take quite a few month's now for them to get production back up to where it peaked at before, let alone moving higher.
hmm today's announcement of share option / performance right lapses makes the cynic in me wonder when there going to come up with a new scheme to grant themselves lots of new rights which kick in at a lower threshold.
Yes I continue to watch and stay very interested in what's happening, but prefer to have my money invested elsewhere, where I see certain return's within a reasonable timeframe and have faith in those in charge acting in shareholders best interests.
