I wouldn't be making buy/sell decisions based on the differences resulting from dividing production by 22 vs 23. Or dividing by 7 vs 8 for that matter. One result is preferable to the other, sure, but I won't be losing sleep over it.
Also, why do you suggest that a high wax context means that the producing area doesn't even cover 50% of the lease? I'm no expert, so I'd genuinely appreciate some guidance on why this is such a big deal. Google seems to think that seeing paraffin in crude oil is nothing to get too upset about.
