Makes you wonder whats going on!.
With a cash backing of close to 10 cents and other assets worth about 2 cents (excluding plant and equipment) you would think there is limited downside to this stock.
Furthermore there are significant increases coming in the reserves from both Henty and Goldstone based in drilling results provided in the last few months.
While it appears that management aren't going ahead with the buyback it is available if anyone starts driving the price down, so its a risky strategy for any would be shorters.
IMO can't help but wonder if someone is keeping the price down for a takeover - maybe its seen as a cheap entry into the african resources/goldstone as opposed to the tasmanian ones.
I've been holding this stock for about 18 months - during 2012 whenever there is strong buying in the morning a seller always comes in and snuffs out any gains - becomes very frustrating after a while.
