The problem maintaining trained frac crews is unbelievable at this point. It is less cost to contract with frac contractors.
The operators make from US$47k to over US$100K pending on qualifications and location. It takes a lot of trained people to make up a quality frac team. Most teams operating in our areas work very long hours.
That is just people. Equipment is very expensive. Equipment breaks and getting people to repair is very costly.
